Walther's Cornerstone Bulk Transfer Conveyor Question

I have this kit and upon reaching the point of installing the windows in the small ‘metal’ house, I’m puzzled as to how they fit, i.e. does the window frame fit inside the wall opening, or does it glue to the back of the wall? When I try to put the frame in the above described manner the fit is so tight as to warp the frame, but it doesn’t quite look right (to me) simply attached to the back of the wall. I spray painted the walls a different color than the original and maybe I got it on a little too thick within the window opening and that is forcing the frame to warp. If you have this kit, could you let me know how it’s supposed to be done. If it’s to go inside, then I’ll cut a bit out of the wall opening so that it’ll fit.

Thanks!

Haven’t built the kit but I gotta believe that if the window frames were intended to be glued to the inside of the wall then there would be no way you could force fit them into the opening.

My guess is they were made a little too big and need to be sanded. (Also, you’re not trying to put them in backwards are you?)

Craig, your guess is right. They’re a little oversized PLUS the extra paint made them too large by just enough. A little sanding on the frames and application of a #11 blade on the openings and the snug right in.

Thanks,
