I have two Walthers Diesel Houses (933-2916) and am combining them to make the large Diesel Repair Building previously used by the SP&S at Vancouver, Washington. The large number of windows in the prototype requires more of the Part #20 and Part #21 pieces that came with the two kits. I would like to find additional Parts #20 (9) and Parts #21 (5) and would be happy to purchase them, and/or trade for some of the other parts that I have in the original two kits. Walthers does not sell spare parts… :-(, but I can certainly understand why.
Hi Rod: I found out that Walthers dosen’t sell parts also. After talking to Dan up there I can understand why. If need be you could make a slicone mold of one of each part and cast your own with casting resin. Is that an option? Goggle Smooth On for resins and silicones and how to info.
Thanks, Paul. I’ve just about come to that conclusion. It should be fairly easy to make an open face mold and just squeegee the backside after all the mullions are poured full. I’ve ordered materials from Micro Mark, and will follow your Google suggestion as appropriate homework.
