Help! I have a 130’ HO Walthers built up turntable. I am using the AC terminals from an old Tyco power pack to provide power. From the time I first installed it several days ago until this morning it worked flawlessly. This morning when I laid the last track to the table, one of the rails was a little long and when the table rotated to that spot, it jammed. I heard the cog gear click and immediately reversed the direction. Although the table still operates smoothly, I can no longer get it to find the zero point.
I have pushed the zero button until the power light flashes and then released. The table rotates clockwise but doesn’t stop it just continues to rotate until I push one of the arrow buttons to stop it.
I have turned off the power and held down the set and zero buttons and turned on the power as per the instructions. This is supposed to erase my preset positions, reinstall the factory settings and when the zero button is pressed until the power light flashes it’s supposed to zero. It doesn’t. The factory “presets” are now roughly 90 degrees from the zero reader in the pit wall and it still can’t find the zero point.
I have removed the bridge several times, brushed the openings in the bridge end and the pit wall with a soft brush to insure there is no debris blocking the infared signal, vaccumed the pit and reinstalled the bridge. No change.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
