has anyone ordered walthers’ 2007 reference catalog? it their august 2006 mini catalog its says its going for $9.98 instead of $25. is the $9.98 price if you order by credit card? or can i order it by using the mail in order form that comes with each mini catalog? i don’t have a credit card so if i could only reserve one using a credit car i am out of getting the reference catalog for such a cheap price.
To go by what Walthers advised my LHS, it may be too late to order at any price, at least in many places. A week or two ago the LHS owner told me he had been contacted that week by Walthers. They wanted a firm order per the number of 2007 catalogs he’d require (but they were only available in sizeable batches) as they were closing orders and getting ready for the printers. They advised him that once the print run was completed (only a single run), there would be no more 2007 catalogs at the low price. Rather then possibly being stuck with a lot extra, the shop owner took only his usual minimum order. So…2007 catalog might just be in short supply some places.
