Walthers HO Scale ADM Grain Facility Kit

Hello All,

I just finished assembling the HO scale Walthers ADM Grain Facility kit and overall I am happy with the result except for two issues;

  1. How do you fill and hide the vertical seams along the four sides of the grain tower assembly?

  2. How do you dissolve and get ride of any excess glue residue on the plastic parts without damaging it or stripping the colour?

  3. What is the best way to weather the overall structure?

Any help would be appreciated.

  1. Squadons modlers putty (red is my fav) Run it over the seam and then sand it down when dry. Use gloves when applying. Contains xylene and toululene.

  2. Scrapping with a flat blade xacto knife and sand paper

  3. for a newb: Weather chalks and powders. If you aren’t happy with the results, you can wash it off with water. It is MESSY however.
