Nice looking proto. Just like I remembered a long time ago.

Ya know, it’s sad! Why do I need my local retailer any more? With your excellent video, audio and description, there’s little left to ask!

looks awesome

I’m going to have to write Santa early this year. From what you have presented here it looks just right!

I just purchased a C&S model. It is the best running steam engine I have. The detail is also up to my brass units. The QSI sound is excellant.

I want one! I saw Mega Movers on history channel and they did a story one moving a SP 2-10-2. I saw the size and I want to have it pull a passenger train on my layout.

I love 2-10-2s! I have 6, but it looks like I’m gonna have to make it seven!

This locomotive is superlative.Tracks extremely well over less than perfect track, it even negotiates tight curves that one would not expect it to traverse without problems.Could watch it all night just crawling around at super slow speed(Proto seems to have “steam” nailed-no binding, no hesitation).I also have a Spectrum 2-10-2 in DM&IR livery, it’s beautiful but it’s no Proto! I would not hesitate to recommend this loco to anyone looking for a significant steam presence on their layout. Picked up a new sound unit on eBay at a price that even beat mail order, makes this addition to the roster even sweeter!

Its my favorite loco, sounds great and runs like a dream.

Just bought one on EBay from scaledstructures.com. Can’t wait to show it off at the Northern Lights Model Railroad Club meeting!

These engines would probably look great on coal drags. I hope they perform just as well because they’ll be doing a 2-percent transistion between decks of my future layout.
As to the sound, I can testify to that. I’ve got a UP Big Boy with Lokosound and I can hear it from 3 feet away.
