Well it has no rail service.
[:D]Just what I was thinking.
There were a large number of Medusa (with an e) plants all over the country, not just that particular one. There are four on this list http://www.epa.gov/ttn/atw/pcem/plantlis.pdf of the largest cement plants in 1997. I think the one up the road from here in Wampum PA has changed hands however and is now Kosmos or Cemtex.

Did Cemtex buy out Metromont.
Sorry - it’s Cemex who owns them now though Medusa and Kosmos played a part in the past. they list that they can ship by truck or rail.

The most likely inspiration for the kit comes from a prototype Medusa Cement plant (rail-served) in Milwaukee, just a few miles across town from where Walthers is headquartered.
In fact, several of Walthers’ kits are based on real buildings found all over the Milwaukee area and other parts of Wisconsin.
I WORK FOR LAFARGE,N.A. IN A READY-MIX PLANT. LAFARGE BOUGHT OUT BLUE CIRCLE AND SOME OF CEMEX’S READY MIX PLANTS. CEMEX STILL OWNS CEMENT PLANTS,WHICH THER IS ONE RIGHT BEHIND THE PLANT THAT I WORK OUT OF. IT IS SERVED BUY RAIL IN PENSACOLA,FL. GEORGE
