does anyone know the names of industries on decals in walthers, REA freight house, stamping plant, american hardward co., clayton lumber, and red wing flour?
I’m not entirely sure what you’re asking, but here are the walthers links on the items:
REA - http://walthers.com/exec/productinfo/933-3095
Ford Stamping Plant - (apparently discontinued)
American HW - http://walthers.com/exec/productinfo/933-3097
Clayton Co. Lumber - http://walthers.com/exec/productinfo/933-2911
Red Wing - http://walthers.com/exec/productinfo/933-3026
Hope this helps…
Most of the Walthers kits have alternative names available on the decal sheets. I have the background building Centennial Mills, which is derived from the Red Wing flour. I would bet the decal sheet is the same. It has
Redwing Milling Co.
Tri-State Milling Co.
Trisco Flour
Robin Hood Flour
Centennial Mills Inc
and other decals with Pillsbury, Gold Medal and Riesen Bread
Can’t help on the others
I have an idea of what to use my walthers ford stamping plant as. am thinking of possibly using it as a small printing plant for fictional magazine called Great Lakes Railroader. if not that either as small plastics or food facotry or food or beverage distributor. also does anyone know of any businesses in micigan that make parts for marine industry like boat fittings that ship by rail? one of the potential uses for the stamping plant Walthers lists on back of the box is as ship’s chandler. Also does anyone know the scale size of the loading doors in walthers stamping kit? are they big enough for rolls of newsprint to taken through or coils of steel from coil cars?
