I don’t have the '09 catalog yet. Has a Union Station model been chosen for Walther’s ) annual train set release? Rumors have been circulating that it might be Albany’s. Any news? Thanks.

I’m not sure that they plan to release a specific Union Station to go with every one of their limited-run passenger train series. I’m guessing they might have done it for the Hiawatha because Milwaukee is Walthers’ home town…(?)
Thanks guys. Sorry I didn’t respond right away. Snow and sleet and gloom of night… Just getting back into the hobby after years away, I thought maybe they’d issue a building with each set. The Milwaukee connection makes perfect sense. I was just hoping for another option for a large city station for down the road… I’ve been tempted to scratch build a Seattle King St. Station or Union Station (We have two!) or Tacoma’s beautiful Domed Union Station but I’m “fantasizing” at this point. I haven’t so much as tried a craftsman kit or kitbashing yet. Walther’s Omaha “Union Station” and CMR’s are the only American options (other than Milwaukee’s) that I know of. Anyone know of others-past or present?
