Walthers/Proto 2000 Releases H10-44's !!!!!!!

These will be my first two FM units also.

This is great! O-P sound now within my grasp. I do like FM way sounds. Recently stationed in Japan at Yokosuka, O-P’s could and still be heard percolating around the harbor in the guts of USN ocean tugs. These are just great machines. Gotta admit the prime mover exceeded the task. I view F-M railroad locomotives as a kind of excess in a world that demanded perfection. Too good too soon. Problems with engine cooling were superficial at worst. F-M’s never got a real fair look in the era when (railroad) unions were encouraged to misbehavior. ACY did it right. Beloit made a better product to no avail. Ric

I hope they look as good as the Atlas FM Trainmaster. If the H24-66 is the Trainmaster, the H16-44 the Baby Trainmaster then what is the H10-44? Did it have a nick name?
