Quick question- if you want to make Walthers Smooth-it plaster easier to get level, can you just add more water or will that weaken it or something?

I have not used the product myself but adding water, as long as it’s not too much shouldn’t weaken it too much. If you are just looking to get it smoother when it has dried what about using a wet flat sponge to smooth the plaster out after it’s set? It works great with drywall mud…dunno about this stuff though.
