Hi Everyone, I just painted the inside of my walthers superliner lounge and now the lighting kit affect the lower level. I have tryed taking a light bulb out of a model power street lamp and just attching it to the metal bars for the main lighting bar, but that just destroyed the lighting kit. I read somewhere that using a battery pack would work for marker lights, would this also work for installing lights. If so how long do the batteries last, I don’t want to have to replace the batteries every week!

Is the lighting kit set up with light bulbs or LEDs? A real light bulb will consume a battery pretty quickly. The model power street lamp would fall in that category.
Ach… you do not need lights in the Superliners… Amtrak never turns them on at night anyway
