Ok so I advance reserve the Trivoli theater back in August first time i see it in the Walthers flyer and it was to start shipping on 11/28. Well is not going to happen. I just checked my backorders and it now shows as “unknown” meaning not sure when the thing will get in. So here is my question. Wouldn’t the maker Walthers know if the product they offer will be ready buy the date they say it will. If any issues arise would they not at least comminicate this delay to those who “pre-order”?. I already sent them and email and am waiting to hear back. Have anyone of you had this happen?
It happens from time to time.
When Amy responds to you, she can give you more specifics on what has caused the delay and when you can expect it.
Sometimes, though, “unknown” means just that. Even Walthers is unable to pinpoint the expected arrival date on occasion.

I don’t think they came up with a front facade yet, there was a big nothing behind the marquis last time I looked, I also wondered why it was so relatively inexpensive. Happy Chinese New Year, try back in 2012.
Oh, it happens ALL THE TIME to pre-orders, or Advanced reservations!!! ANd they DON’t USUALLY let you know what the hold up is. SO if you pre-order something, expect it to take a year or more to get the item in your hands!
That is one of the ways they are doing business now…they make a concept model, and feel out the demand for it, then either produce it, or sometimes not at all…when they get enough orders.
i preordered somehting once when i was flush wiht cash, but by the time it finally came in I was replacing both the furnace and the roof and didn’t have the funds anymore. I decided to never again pre-order something! Besides, the wait for it seems interminable!

I and many others who have been wating for the next batch of the Walthers 90’ and 130’ turntables for over a year and a half now. Word has it that there is an electrical issue that needs to be resolved by Heljan the manufacturer of these turntables.
No way !!!
Heljan makes these indexed turntables???
Well, I’ll be darned.
I have the original 130’ non-DCC version of the turntable.
