Walther's Union Station

Does anybody know if the “Union Station” is enscribed on the front of the Walter’s Union Station Passenger Station or is it a decal. I would like to replace it with one that instead reads Pennsylvania Station for Baltimore’s Penn Station.

Thanks.

Ryan

Ryan,

Had to look at a picture of the kit from an eBay auction. Looks like it’s inscribed above the entry way to me.

Looks to me like it’s set in stone… err plastic.

Hi Ryan,

I built the Walther’s “Union Station” kit for my layout and the name on the front is done with a decal. It comes with several decals, including “Grand Central Station”. I decided to use only part of the decal and call my station “Central Station”.

So, go ahead and buy it on sale right now and place your own name on it. I’ve done a lot of building signs using “Word” on my computer, varying the text size, font, background color and font color.

Hope this helps.

Yup, they’re decals. Not sure if you can tell from this pic, but it’s the only pic I have of the station at this time. Cheers.
