I might. Not too long ago the catalogue was selling for $24.95 so $35 for a catalogue and free shipping over $75 isn’t too bad…although free shipping period for members would be better.

It is a pretty good deal, but I find walthers to be rather expensive for things you can find elsewhere online for much cheaper, so I don’t shop there much and as a result would not make much use of the free shipping. Count me out, I buy the book from my LHS.

Seems like this would be good for a model railroad club or group. I order from Walthers occasionally, but now that I’ve lost my LHS (Happy Hobo Trains) I’m searching for deals from web based suppliers.
Well, let’s see. IF you didn’t have a local hobby shop and IF you don’t order from online dealers, such as Dallas Model Works or TrainWorld, and you order over $75 at one time from Walther’s, then it probably is a good deal. Hey, you get a free pin and bumper sticker!! [:D]
They do have the largest assortment of merchandise and they are friendly and helpful, even if they do sell things at full markup. But, they also have sales and closeouts… so it could be a tossup.
