I have one Pennsy car I’d be willing to sell but don’t know if its one from '76.
The model # is 6-7208 “John Hancock”. It’s a diner from the Congressional set.

I think he’s looking for the “Baby Madison” cars from that era. I used to have them all including the elusive Baggage and Presidential Campaign Car. There was a diner added sometime around 1987 too.
I sold them all for the set made last year that featured die-cast trucks/couplers, overhead lighting and detailed interiors. MUCH better cars if you want to run them!

These cars are usually available on E-bay at a very reasonable price. They seem to be about the least expensive of the baby Madisons.
Since I’m a PRR nut, I’ve got the whole set + , I have converted them to 6 wheel trucks w/automatic couplers. They make a lot better looking and running set that way. The 6 wheel trucks can be usually gotten also from E-bay , especially when they are on beat up baby madisons like the Chessie or Blue Comet cars. They do not come along very often, but when they do, they are pretty cheap,.
I got the new PRR pass set also, and they are very nice models.
I obtained 3 cars from that broadway limited it looks like. No boxes, but I like the color of the cars and they are mint. I have the 9510, 9507, 9508. I really wanted the 9509 Pres Adams end observation car. and maybe the 9514, 9515, 9513.
