I have tried to post pictures a few times but can’t. I am VERY computer stupid and need somebody to walk me through it. I would love to share pics of my current layout and pics of the one I am about to replace it with on here.

BTW the article on how to tear down a layout could not have come at a better time as mine will begin deconstuction in the VERY near future.

Here is the way I do it. Create a fee account at photobucket.com. Upload your pictures to photobucket. Once you upload them there, there will be an http link under the picture. Copy that link and in this forum click the picture icon and add the link. Your pictures should appear.

This is something I have saved:

You need to put brackets around the img at the beginning and a / in front of img (with brackets) at the end. Delete the “*” in the actual post. If we don’t do that now, the forum go looking for a photo that cannnot be found

[img]photo location information [/img]

the “photo location information” is the url of the picture from photobucket, or whatever site you have them stored on. I get this by right clicking on “open image in new window” and then copy and paste that url between the “img” and the “/img”

Make sure you use the brackets around “img”

I’ve never had a problem using the method I mentioned above, but was just wondering about the “picture icon.” I’ve never seen a picture icon. I’m using the Safari browser on a Mac. Maybe I’m missing something?

All I do is left clic where shown, this automatically has all you need to paste into the reply window

that’s all there is to it

Youtube is also easy to use but it took me a long time to actually try it

Thanks, Ray! I just tried it, and previewed it, and it worked. That’s the easiest method I’ve ever used! It adds the little brackets you need at the ends and everything. Thanks for making this easier than I thought it was!
