Custom paint jobs cost way too much for such a simple paint scheme.

I haven’t been having luck searching eBay or Google.
If anyone has this locomotive and would be willing to sell, or knows where I might be able to purchase it, please let me know.
You have two issues here:
- There is no selling/buying/advertising on Kalmbach Publishing forums. Please read the info/rules about posting.
- If it is so simple to paint - why not do it yourself? When you farm out paint work, you are going to have to pay the going rate(as determined by the custom painter). To paint this model, you need a rattle can of dark primer grey, and the rest is decals. I would estimate about 3-4 hours of prep/painting/decal work/overspray - What is the hourly rate you get paid? Multiply that by 4 and see if the custom guy is so over priced…
