Wanted /Big Boy Bell

Group a few days ago I wrote and asked if anyone had a bell and holder from a AHM/Rivarosi Big Boyloco they wanted to sell and I got a response from Tom telling me about Cal-Scale and to contact bowser which I did and they do have Bells and holders listed but upon contacting Bowser, they could not assure me that these parts would work, my question is this has any one on the lisy used Bowser parts on a AHM/Rivarosi Big BOY LOCO and will they indeed fit.

any help you could give would be appriciated

George, Revell makes an Ho scale plastic model Big Boy kit #02165. the Bell would be plastic of course but could be painted a brass color. Maybe You could contact them to aquire just the bell? Or You could do an Ebay search for the entire model. It’s just a suggestion.

The Bowser bell and bracket should work with very little modification, and end up looking better than the stock Rivarossi. The only thing is, since it wouldn’t be original, the value of the Big Boy might change a little (maybe up, or maybe down). But at least it would have a bell.[:D]
