WANTED BRASS F59 SURFLINER

Has anyone seen this? A Brass F59 Amtrak Surfliner sitting in a hobby shop that needs a good home. Can’t find one anywhere and need help. Thanks.[8D]

Do you want the actual F59 or the Surfliner cars? If it’s the F59 you want why not get an Athearn for a fraction of the price?

I have the cars and want a brass engine. I already have the the Athearn engine, but I would like to get the brass one. Is there anyone who could point me in the right direction on how to locate one?

I think that the F59PHI’s are long gone. Overland is coming out with the Surfliner F40PH Late 2006/Early 2007.

Don’t even bother checking eBay at the moment. I just did. There’s not even an Athearn version on there.

I would check it daily to see if one pops up, however.

eBay has a feature where you can itemise something you are looking for, and they will notify you if it comes up for auction, and/or they will post your request for others to see.

I believe Caboose Hobbies has a couple, but they are not in the Surfliner paint.

Yep that was me. I just checked out the current bid and it is 150 bucks less than what I just sent. Oh well. Well at least my engine is in the mail!
