Wanted !!!-people -CP decals

Hi, I´m Christian from Germany,

who have interrest for decals(wheel car and passenger cars) in CPRail , Canadian Pacific? Please make your registration to Microscale! By the way exists decals of any other company on the market?

Thanks forwart!

Christian, SMP, the company that makes Accupaint, also makes Accucals for CPR and CPRail diesels. I’m not sure if they make the lettering for CPR’s current paint scheme, but the CPRail scheme with the multimark is set 5824H, while set 5829H covers both the script and block lettering schemes for the older grey and maroon paint. The colours in the decals are an exact match for the appropriate SMP paints. Passenger car lettering for the older maroon cars is available, as dry transfers, from C-D-S. Set 221 is for early wooden cars, circa 1912; Set 8 covers both wood and steel cars up to 1968. For stainless steel cars, Set 300 does those with maroon letterboards, and covers the period from 1954 to the late 1960s. Stainless steel cars with the CPRail multimark and red letterboards can be lettered using Set 301, which is good from 1968 until the formation of VIA in 1979. C-D-S also has lettering for express cars used in passenger trains: Set 402 is for 45’ reefers up until 1926; Set 331 is also for 45’ reefers, but from 1930 until about 1975, and Set 332 will do “Through Baggage” cars for the period 1935 to the early 1970s.

Christian, it appears as though Accucals and C-D-S are both in the process of re-organising. I can’t seem to figure out how to post a link, but to find Accucals, Google “SMP Industries” and for C-D-S, try “C-D-S Lettering”.

Hope this helps,

Wayne
