Wanted: Web site links to some great track layout designs.

Hi there,

I was wondering if anyone could paste in here a web site link(s) to some great track layout designs, especially when it comes to building junctions, interlocks, yards, those sort of things.

Thanks in advance.

I suggest you take a look at some of the theory in good layout design. I’d start with the Layout Design SIG’s website at: http://www.emuck.com/~rufus/ldsig/index.html

BTW, the link from the SIG’s website I posted above to their “primer” appears to broken. I Googled it and found this link, which appears to be good:

Thanks!!

I was also hoping for web sites/pages that have pictures, and/or illustrations that show various types of yards, junctions, sidings, etc, and maybe even list some of the pros & cons of one design over another.

Thanks in advance! [:)]

Here’s a link to an excellent layout of the Santa Fe. I have corresponded with Dan Goins and he’s a cool dude!
