Any suggestions how to gently flatten a slightly warped wall section from a Bachman’s City Scene building?
Thanks,
Mike

Use a hair dryer to warm it slightly, then press it flat under a big, heavy book.
If the inside of the wall will not be visible, you can use sheet styrene glued at right angles to to the wall to correct the warp. I buy Evergreen Scale Models 6" x 12" x .040" sheets with grooves spaced at .080". Cutting the sheet into consistently sized strips is easy by simply scribing along a groove and snapping the piece off. I usually use a piece about 1" wide at the top and the bottom of the wall.
If I am scratch building I brace all the walls. Bracing is a good idea even if the walls are straight to start with. It will ensure that they don’t warp over time.
