Found this while looking for Galesburg shots.

on the front its “BN & S” whereas on the side, its Burlington & Norfolk Southern" weird…

I lived in Swansea (stationed at Scott AFB) for a few years, and loved railfanning that area. That is a great site you posted the link for. Looks like we will end up back at Scott, so I can finish up some “unfinished business”(railfanning)!

I was never aware of any merger between the two companies. Guess I have to read more.
