The DC Metro shut down is the proverbial “canary in the coal mine” for this country’s infrastructure problems (after Flint Michigan and its water contamination). While the Democrats tend to overreach in their solutions, the Republican Party does not even have a clue! We need to spend more time, attention, and funding on our infrastructure and be more selective on the wars we choose to fight. And taxes will be rising.
