Too bad Scott Walker rejected the Feds’ assistance with Talgos and HST. He claimed it would be a “liability” to the state of Wisconsin. In fact, after assistance from Illinois and Minnesota along with the cities of Madison and Milwaukee, the share for the state of Wisconsin was quite small. One man’s unwillingness to work with a President from the other party killed three states’ HSR. His unwise tax cut has WI in a deep hole now. How ironic as he used to claim “Wisconsin is open for business…” and “Wisconsin does not have debt.” Two swings and misses…
