Doupt I have room in my back yard for one of those in 1:1 scale. I have a friend that might enjoy building one to go along with the 1:1 scale caboose he’s got though… [:D]
I saved that one.
Jarrell;
A peanut can,icecream sticks and copper wire,and some scale wood,GO FOR IT you can build one,I know you can[:D][}:)][:-,]

Wow, Thanks a lot. Maybe when I get some time(and money) I can build that to replace my crappy looking plastic one. Thanks.( how did you get a .bmp file on Photobucket?)
Thanks for sharing.
Enjoy

Jacon, are there any copyrights we should be concerned about here?
Just curious,
Bergie
Hmmmm… copywrites… yes, it was copywrited… written… whatever. back in 1899. Here’s the page it came from, go to the bottom of it and click on structures. There’s a turntable or two, a coaling station, a passenger station and other things.
The file was a jpg and I downloaded it and worked on it a little by converting it to a tiff file and a much higher resolution and then sharpened the image a little.

that’s an amazing site . tons of info on everything to do with the railroad . nice page on shays including a picture of a 4 truck shay which got me wondering if a bachmann 3 truck shay could be modified into one . not that i’m planning on doing it [:)]
there’s also a baldwin atsf loco catalog with photos , very nice for us 1900 era folks
Whoa, thanks! I missed the Shay.

Thanks, Jarrell. I’ll want that coaling tower, too.
That is a very helpful and interesting site. The diagram of how the water tank spout works is just what I was looking for.
