Way OT - End of 'Angel the Series'

The chances of finding another Buffy/Angel viewer on this forum are slim to none, but I would be remiss in not lamenting the end of one of the finest shows ever to grace the small screen IMHO. With all the hoopla about Frasier and Friends ( and they may have been good shows), there have been very few series which dealt with issues in the manner of Angel. While tonight’s episode is supposed to be especially gory ( and not typical), the theme of the show has primarily been about redemption and seeking a purpose to do good. The acting was usually top-notch, and the scripts were thought-provoking. As far as the fans were concerned, their involvement over Buffy/Spike/Angel/Cordy makes some of our more heated talks about Lionel/MTH/K-line look like polite debating society meetings. My only hope is that somehow, somewhere the Buffy-verse created by Joss Whedon will continue in some fashion as Star Trek did. For an hour at my house tonight, the trains will be still as I watch the last show.

Good Luck in finding the other Two people who watch the show. [:D]

eZAK,

Thank you for your encouragement no matter what level of frivolity is involved. To paraphrase Daniel Webster, “Although it is a show with small ratings, there are those of us who love it.”
