Weathered cars for the M-K&Eastern

I have an ability to let the rolling stock pile up high before I get around to weather them … Might be because that I do a lot of weathering for others [:)].
Anyway, I have, while I made a weathering tutorial (if there is someone who wants to publish it [swg] …), weathered a couple of my U.S. cars. I have made six pieces. 2 pieces of hard weathered, three medium and one mildly weathered. Now they’re intended to represent having been exposed to a combination of dust, soot, steam locomotives, diesel and other unhealthy things [swg].

One more picture …

The two that are not visible here’re almost done [:D].

Wow! Some incredible weathering there Grafen. Now can you do some of mine… [:P]

Thanks Michael, I think i got these ones right for the era I´m modelling.

On the Forums I see a lot of the modern type weathering with patches and streaks and all other whistles and bells kind of weathering (wich I like to do as well [:D]), but that is hardly appropriate for the transition era that I´m trying to model.

I try to find good color pic´s from the time and I have found some that I use as inspiration for my weathering.
