Hi Group, What type of weathering techniques do most of you use? ie: chalk or paint for locos and rolling stock.

I have tried them both.

Probably your best resource online for weathering techniques is

modeltrainsweathered.com I’ve been a member (it’s free BTW) there for going on 3 years now, & I’ve learned quite a bit (& still have a lot to learn.) There’s a “beginners corner” section for folks like you, & the folks over there will be more than happy to answer any questions you have.
