I just received my double truss bridge abutments made by Chooch. The color is primer gray currently. I wi***o weather them prior to installation. Any suggestions? I have acrylic paints and weathering powder from Brangdon, so i am kind of unsure. My setting is summer in upper midwest. thanks for all your help!

Mix a drop of yellow, a bunch of medium or light grey, maybe some white, maybe some brown (try all of these on some white paper or cardboard), and once well blended, cover all of the abuttments. Dry thoroughly. If a bit dark, or too whatever-colour-you-added-too-much-of, whiten it a bit with a heavy wash of white. Then, when you feel you are close, commence a series of light India Ink washes, letting each dry, with a spritz of Dull-coat in between. You’ll get the effect you desire if you are patient and methodical.
You can always start over by duplicating the original colour if need be.
