Weaver F-7 won't go

Got a Weaver F-7.

This thing was sent away for the addition of proto-sounds.

Very little usage and now it doesn’t move at all.

Upon powering up, it just makes the sounds–no light or movement–makes bell sound and air brakes just fine.

I was looking for any help, including a REPUTABLE repair shop that anyone has used with good results. I am willing to send it out to get fixed, but in PA would be best.

This is why I like the older ones—never needed college degree to work on them!

Check the battery, the sounds should continue for 6 or so seconds after removing power. If the battery is low the loco will not switch out of neutral.
