There is one at The Station Inn in Cresson, Pennsylvania(viewable in daylight) which shows traffic on NS on the West Slope between Altoona and Johnstown…it can be found at www.stationinnpa.com There is another Webcam at Horseshoe Curve in Altoona, viewable by going to the Altoona Railroaders Museum Website at www.railroadcity.com

…Dave, I went over to the railroadcity.com site and tried to engage the web cam but seems a bit confusing what they want one to do to become eligible to view the cam…

If the Curve Cam program is the same as it was the first time I logged onto it several months ago, there is an ‘axis’ program that you have to upload first, before the Horseshoe Curve Cam will work on your computer…Once that is accomplished, you will likely see a black screen if you are trying to view it now as it is night time…The Station Inn Cam is simpler, go to the Station Inn Site, and scroll down the left side until you see webcam and click that link…don’t bother looking for any pic at night either…it’ll be a black screen at night…The Station Inn Cam snaps pics every few seconds when a train passes…the Curve Cam is a live streaming, meaning you will have to sit and wait for something to appear…

Try www.railcams.com or camvista .com They both have like to many different cams

Thanks Vic, I like the day at a glance feature that one has.

That was cool, brought that one up for a couple of minutes and caught a stack train flying by, going away from the camera, on the near track!
