I can’t believe what happened today! It seems the love of my life bombed me out of bad at 6 oclock this morning[|(]…to go fleamarketing!![banghead]
After looking a all sorts of apparatuses that uphold the modern human condition, I did score a few finds. 3 videos, One on Colorado narrow guage, one on the Copper Canyon train, and one on the last Canadian Transcontinantal train ride. (2 bucks each) A large box of HO stuff, structures, parts, power packs (3) ,vehicles and figures (20 bucks). The best part was a Mantual “big six” 0-6-0 kit, assembled, but unpainted but with a Sagami Can motor installed. (nuther 20!) Sweet little heavy runner!
Next time she wants to go fleamarketing, I’m setting the alarm clock![(-D][(-D][(-D][(-D]
Sounds like you lucked out there. Go to a flea market around here and you’ll find the area hobby items. Cast iron skillets, painted saw blades, molten blobs of metal that are somebody’s idea of jewelry and old furniture and clothes nobody seems to want. Once in a while, I’ll score a rich find with some train stuff but that’s few and far between.
