Despite a shortage of ammo the Guns & Tackle in Sundown is still open for business.

And I’ve got an old all-metal Athearn Magnolia tank car in the train now. I haven’t done anything to it other than mount Kadee #148 couplers. When one of these old cars derails on a turnout the sparks will fly.

A recent view of my current scenery project, combined with a glamour shot of one of Walthers’ new C&O streamlined coaches.

Nice work, all!

This is the first week I actually have something to post for WPF. I just started building benchwork for a 4x8 layout. I’ve been out of the hobby for about 10-15 years and this layout will essentially be a practice layout to shake off the rust and so that I can have something to work on for the next couple years while I plan the dream layout.

I’ll be adding a plywood top and 2" foam. The bottom will get plywood too to act as a storage shelf. I still haven’t picked a track plan.

Hi all,
Here’s a model of the Milwaukee’s Eagle Nest Tunnel and bridge my crew and I recently built on our current project, the NorthWest Trunk Lines. We still have some vegetation and catenary to add, but the scene is about 90% complete.

a Bit of an oddball pair leads this BN heritage train, BN #5624 an SD90/43MAC a BNSF fictional heritage unit, an E9A #9942, with the freshly refurbished SP&S business car #99, and some new cars bought for this occasion.
