best time of the week again…weekend photo fun.
for those who are new here, WPF is where we show off what we worked on during the week ,and weekend. For example, here’s my project
i stripped a scaletrains.com sd40-2 to create another Wheeling unit for me. all the paint is airbrushed on, and the nose stripes are custom printed, as are the warning labels on the pilot and frame.
Letd see what everyone else is working on.

I managed to get a couple of cars done this week!
Kadee 50’ Hydroframe PS1 Boxcar kit, painted with Scalecoat II Reefer Yellow and lettered with Mask Island Decals. Car was built in 1962 and had the ladders shortened and was repainted in 1970, used in general service.
Branchline 1944 AAR Boxcar Kit, painted with Floquil Reefer Gray and lettered with Oddballs Decals. Car was built by the Desoto Shops in the late 50’s. In 1975 the car was either in a wreck in Mexico and was repainted in this gray scheme or it was an experimental paint scheme by the railroad. Needless to say this is the only car of this type with the gray paint scheme.

Thanks for getting our WPF started thiss weekend, Jimmy! I think those SD-40-2s are one of my favorite all-time locomotives. Very nice, indeed.
I’m envious of your decal work, Rick. Beautiful results as always. My recent decal projects seem to hit a snag of one kind or another. It sure can try one’s patience [banghead]
I did manage fo finish up the converted coach that the PRR made out of 21 roomette Budd sleepers. I plan to give this model to my nephew who presently has the car. It is the former Van Wert Inn that eventually wound up as a Ringling Brothers car.

I just finished with an undecorated SD40 unit and turning it into a nice W&LE unit. I plan on weathering it a bit and then working on a few other units currently collecting dust! 
LakeErieExpress your images are blocked from general public viewing. Can you change the security settings for the images? If not, you will need to find another web host to display images (do NOT use Photobucket, they changed their policy and charge a bunch of money to share (host) images)

Jimmy, Thanks for starting up the WPF and the SD pic, nose stripe decals are not easy to apply and yours look good.

The track of the Blacklog RR is in dire need of maintenance. The great depression and WW II have taken their toll. [ a modeling work in progress. ]
Well I’m deep into another scratch build for my layout, I’m currently stuck waiting on parts.
This project started out as a filler between a couple of other projects waiting on parts.
I’ve had a hard time working with Styrene shingles but I’m slowly figuring it out. The roofs on these look better after the umteenth time.
Still a lot of work to do before they’re finished. Both structures will be on an Arduino Rando

I was travelling all week long, so I do not have any projects to post.

Jimmy: The SD40 looks very good. I love the ScaleTrains models. I wish they made something I could use, but then again, I am not sure how many more locomotives I will ever purchase.

Rick: I really like the Milwaukee Road Car. I generally do not like all yellow cars, but that one is sharp.

Ed: Great update on the passenger cars. Looks good.

Mike: The coal scene looks really “railroady”, nice.

Peter: The hopper car is gorgeous. Love the culvert in between the tracks too.

Mel: The scratchbuilding project on the house is really coming along quite well. The detached garage is a nice bonus.

I haven’t made much progress on my White Castle or my R-36 World’s Fair subway car lately, because I’ve been busy building my 3D scanning rig. I finished this weekend and the first test print came off the printer this morning. This is 1:18 scale (the blueberries are gargantuan monsters from Peru that were almost an inch in diameter). I’m hoping that a finer nozzle will let me do 1:87 and still retain enough detail to make DIY real-people layout figures a workable idea.
