To start things out here’s a photo of my H-8 crossing the New River bridge at Thurmond and

Johnboy out…

Here’s a few older ones from me…

I have something a little different this week, one that is more imaginative, for me anyway. Coming home from town the other evening, riding along with a full moon in the windshield, the radio was playing “Midnight Train to Georgia”. That got me to thinking…

When I got home I got my camera and tripod and photographed the moon then a Consolidated that I backlit.

Jarrell

Hello everybody. Nice work here already.

This post will introduce my newest scene on my HO (fictional) Heartland Division of CB&Q. It is located in a corner. All of the background buildings are undersized to force the perspective. The roads winding around between the tress get very narrow in the distance. The stream and waterfalls are made from WS “Realistic Water” and “Water Effects” You may notive the funeral in progress in the cemetary.

The hoiuses will be part of my town of Valley Heights, and the station is in place out of view to the left. The waterfalls are named “Standing Falls”.

Terry, Jeff, Jacon12, Gary: Nice photos this week!

I’m busy with my scrap yard fence:

The gate is movable, of course! [:)]

Good looking work so far this week end. Here are a few pics of some of the structures on my layout. None of them are “placed” on the layout or have the decals and weathering applied. I am waiting to get some more done before I start setting them perminately.

The last pic is an overall pic of what I have so far as for a town, It will more than likely be moved. Have a good weekend and thanks for looking. Mike

How about a little photo editing magic…

Lee

Outdoorsfeller, your videos are very good! I noted your smooth trackwork…the cars don’t rock or jerk along, so you have tuned them and the tracks very well.

Hello looks great guys

Wolfgang the fence looks great what did you use for hinges? Here is my crane I a working on for my junk yard.

Have a good weekend Frank

Here’s my How To for the construction. I’ve used the hinges attached in the kit.

Wolfgang

All these pictures are great! Keep them coming!

OB

Lots of great shots, esp. Jarrell’s night shot, outstanding!

East bound GP30 no.2234 leading a local toward Stoney Creek.

Good work as usual!!!

Well let me add to the WPF.

Here’s a few shots…Two with the cement plant and a couple from the “Corning” hopper.

The cement plant has been ballasted, foliage, and a new creek which turns into a small lake is being added. In the ballast areas, I added some diesel spillage from the diesel. Just look closely.

Next is the hopper. I only got to keep it a week, now its new home will be in Norway. I will have to do one for myself oneday.

Hey Robby

I like the cement plant but what happened to the guy laying in the road in the second photo ?

[swg]

Um, I guess I should have kept him out of the shot.

Poor guy has been working 5 straight shifts. I only have two guys on my layout, him and another guy near a building. I am working them, till they pass out!!! [B)]
