I’m starting this week because I actually got something done[:0]. I painted my first section of backdrop[8D]
Have Fun![:)]
This morning driving to work I got stopped at a crossing by long train with a 6 locomotive consist. Two were lease units, one was CSX the owner of the local tracks. Two were BNSF, rare enough here in south wester Ohio but the one that caught my eye was a real foreigner. Ferromex.
I Googled the photo. I had never even heard of that railroad before this morning.
Looking good!
I never cared for Ferromex’s paint scheme.
Trucks for my layout , all painted and decaled by me, printed my own decals
You can get a Athearn AC4400 in the Ferromex paint scheme. I kindove like it.[:D]
Those are nice. The *** Simon is very cool.
Ferromex locomotives look like Christmas decorations.
Someone may model Ferromex and be offended!!
Ken.
I wasn’t trying to offend anyone. BUT how can you model Fmex? Don’t they just lease power to other RR’s or are they actually a RR (with their own track and rolling stock)?
GAPPLEG - What paper, printer, etc., did you use for the decals? I’m thinking of printing some of my own.
Well, let’s see…I’ve worked on my staging yard all week and it’s in operation.
And I’ve been putting my wheel cleaner to good use.
And, I’ve been playing with my new digital camera!
Now the weekend is here, and I’m at work all day. But, I’ll be home to play more on Sunday!
That was uncalled for. You know as well as I do that we have members from the great country of Mexico on this site.

It’s quite obvious that they have trackage and rolling stock. Just scroll down below the map. True, it’s in Spanish, but some words are a no-brainer.

Hi Guys! Great pics so far Not much going on here right now but i did get these track side signals im working on .There OLD! but in good shape i need to replace the wires and LEDs in them And strip them anyway heres 2 before and after pics
Before.
And after the one i did is on the left ,Anyone know where i can get the leds for them and the thin wires …by the way there H.O
Carl…
Carl: Maybe I can help. I’ve got a couple of unbuilt signal kits that use LED’s, and that I decided not to install on my layout. They’re just lying around, and I have no use for them. If you want, e-mail your address to me at hoofus42@aol.com and I’ll send them to you gratis. I think you could use the LED’s that are in the packages.

I’m starting my wee Girl early.
She thinks she’s a computer pro already 22 months old.
Ken.
Lighten up. I don’t get all mad when someone insults BNSF (not anymore).
Looking good everybody.
Broken rib’s finally healing, so thought I’d run some trains today. Decided to give my new Rio Grande #1408 2-10-2 a drag freight to tackle. Here she is, still fresh from the shops, hauling mostly coal cars up the 2.2% toward Yuba Summit. The two lead boxcars are my first attempts at weathering. I blame Aggro.
Just finshed taking water at Bassetts, about to head into the Yuba Pass tunnel
Secret of #1408’s success: #1400, another 2-10-2 (my brass kitbash) pushing on the end.
Having a lot of fun with my new and now Infamous Income Tax Refund [:P][:P][:P]
Tom
Nice pic’s everyone,
Tom glad you are enjoying your refund, hope the rib’s get better soon
FerroMex look’s good to me, it’s a locomotive not a fashion statement
