Thanks to all for posting, great pics as usual.
Thanks Marc and Mike for the comments on the video.
Locating the camera on a flat car at the end of the train was the idea of one member, the younger one you can see on the video. He is controlling the train and no I am not the other guy.
I found the train noise on the internet, they are public domain therefore free of royalty.
The camera is a Polaroid Cube it is magnet equiped and will stay put on any flat car with a steel plate under the floor.
The other video you saw on You Tube are for viewing the track work and surrounding so that we can spot thing to be fixed. They are not meant to be showed here as it is getting boring after a while.
Really off to a great start, Bear, thanks for kicking it off for another weekend. Nice “stuff” guys
GARRY, always love that consist, and remember when sceniking and building that rock cut, great pic
MrB, nice decals, never know it started as a Lifelike tank
Dave that boat did end up awesome. I mentioned the now 1 ft rule, heck you need an Optivisor to see any blemish!
Ed, those Spring Mill Depot I-12s sure are a thing of beauty, love those signals.
Quite an enjoyable thread, keep 'em coming.
Got a hold of the starting point for the next project that I will be starting soon. I happened across exactly what I wanted at a show a late roundhouse or athern old time 2-8-0, this is late roundhouse. It already got a new lead truck wheel mostly testing it as soon as it came out of the box.
In the mean time there is the finshed last project to play with.
Had one of them there ken kidder locos. It was in way worse shape. Dont break anything on it. I was missing a rod or some thing. Could not find one to save my sole. Stripped it down to brass with an air eraser primed it and sold it. Motor was finiky, could not find parts, and no matter how hard i tried to solder the headlight back on it wouldmfall off or something else would work its way Off. I just plum gave up on it and let someone else fool with it.
nice work everyone else. Been away for a while sort of back just creepin.

Well, there hasn’t been much time for model railroading. Tonight was spent photographing a wedding. But…the cake did have some respectable modeling, so I’ll share it here. The groom is in construction.
Carnegie Falls
That wedding cake is a hoot! I wonder what the bride thought of it. I hope she was in on the joke.
Dave
Bob K … Thanks for commenting. I like the club photos you post.
Peter … I like the culvert in your scene.
Carnegie Falls … You just showed modelers can have their cake and eat it too. … LOL
Probably that is a groom’s cake; the bride would have had the fancy on with all the frills. When my son, a Star Wars fan, got married his groom’s cake was a Chewbacca face
I have one of those Ken Kidder Moguls myself. It might only be able to pull one car, but it can do it at 400 smph!! Kinda reminds me of a slotcar
I had hoped to show finished photos of the narrow gauge boxcab this week, but the real world (spring cl**ning) got in the way again. This afternoon I got a start on the decoder; just soldering the resistors and feeder wires on the LEDs for the headlights. Then Rosie woke up and told me it was dinner time - hers, not mine. have you ever tried to solder with a hungry dog nose bumping you on the elbow?
Once again I have to say starting WPF is no big deal, it’s the following contributors of the really Good Stuff that make it what it is.
A couple of quick comments if I may.
**Dave,**of course I had to have a closer look and all I have to say is if that boat was mine I’d be as proud as punch and over the moon. I have got the rest of my davits made, though it’s been raining in the paint booth today, and while I’m pleased with the overall result, I won’t be subjecting them to the 1 foot rule.[swg]
RDG Casey, are you starting a new twist to the thread? Guess the next Reading locomotive your donor is for. Am looking forward to your next build thread, and away off topic, I do like your wooden floor.
Thanks again ffolkes,[bow]
Casey:
I-7???
Tom
I need a second one for that, this one will be an I-6 camelback totally scrach shells, mabe a new tender frame too not sure yet. I will do an I-7 when I find another one of at least the same quality. That would put my roster having I 6-10.
Will look like this but the just before retired appearance with the rectangle number board. As far as I can tell they didn’t last far into the 40s.
