Thanks for starting another WPF, Jimmy!
My N gas station was another early attempt at scratch-building. One day I’m going to redo the gas pumps and add a few other ‘junky’ things to make it look better. Peter’s gas station has inspired me to become better at this.
Nice work folks.
Jimmy: I like that car! But the company maintenance folks really need to look at that roof
John: Nice picture of Robbie’s stop. The lighting really makes it come alive.

@York1, great work with the lighting! And for a first attempt at scratchbuilding the pumps, those are pretty good.
Lol the building is unfortunately on the railroads demo list, the real one was taken down in 2015… it fits since the real one had roof issues as well
Simon, that is a great shot!
Jimmy, Thanks for rolling out the WPF in black and white.
Shooting in low light is fun, changes the atmosphere, softens color and edges, even adds a little noir, but I like how it helps hide my modeling sin.
Regards, Peter
John, Good to see your ‘fuelish’ modeling. I like the pylons, an often overlooked, yet realistic detail. Also reminds me of Rotten Robbie’s the bay area gas station chain.
Regards, Peter
David, I always enjoy your “ground level” photos, because there’s often some wonderful greenery and flowers in view.
Indeed. Beautiful work David.
Good luck tonight, Jimmy.

Quite a surprise when the end of the train passed by
Yeah right, Peter! Your sins would be considered some of my best work!
