You have the engine house looking good Jeff.
For me, well my engine (well was my engine). I did some touch ups on it, and since money is tight…had to let it go. Plus I need a 8 wheel, and this one was 12 wheel.
Here’s some from last weekends running session

Just a little about what we model,
The club currently models the old NC & STL Chattanooga Division from Chattanooga, TN to Nashville, TN, Future plans call for modeling some sections of the Southern Rathole line. 350 ft of Main Line is in place and up and Running From Chattanooga, TN to Bridgeport, AL and scenery is under construction.
The Southern has Trackage rights from Chattanooga, TN to Stevenson, AL so modelers may focus on the NC&STL, L&N up to CSX, and Southern & Norfolk Southern.

I’ve been working on and around a small country passenger station for a while and after installing some lights took this photo.
For those that are interested in such things the picture was made with camera on a very solid tripod, f/18 @ 8 seconds. For about 5 seconds of that time a very small flashlight was used to put more light on the building front and passengers. That’s not an exact science and some light did manage to hit unwanted areas which I later burned in some. The smoke and moon were, of course, added digitally.

All looks good so far guys, nice work on the engine house Jeffery, this is a DPM N scale corner turret building that has been made into a gun shop, with real glass windows made from slide covers, needs more work yet, and i may have to redo the guns and ammo boxes, in N they are more like artillary size! oh well, enjoy!
Chuck & Heather.
Very nice work as usual, Jarrell! I’m a real sucker for quality night shots!
Here’s my latest attempt at a long expsure night photo, since it won’t show the unfinished areas of my layout as much as a still photo.
Nice Night time photos guys !
Something i’ve not yet tried to do
Still working on Videos
Here’s a short one
Nice work everyone! Jarrell, great photo and thanks for the tip on how you did it.
West bound freight passing Blue Mountain tower.
Really nice job. The scene is almost perfect except for the Bachman track. Try covering it up with ballast to make it more realistic, that is what I would do.
IVRW, to whom were your observations directed? I think it might be to Jeffrey, way back at the top of the page. Perhaps you could clarifty?

My apologies. Yes it was Jeffery. I will be sure to include quotes more often. Thank you for pointing that out. You can also find that out by clicking the “In Reply To” right across from the date of post.
The floor of the structure will be built up so it’s level with the bottom of the rails. An outside stairway will go to the ‘floating’ door in front.
Here’s a couple of buildings I’ve been working on. Last night I replaced the lights in them then decided to weather them a bit while I was at it. The window glass was cut from those seemingly unopenable Wal-Mart packages. You know the ones, usually containing some $2 or $3 item and almost takes a chain saw to open. The brick mortar was done with white chalk lightly sprayed with Matte-Finish. The overall finish was done an alcohol/black acrylic spray-on wash. The effect is subtle yet effective.

Nice work everyone… I really like that night shot with the moon… Hey Jeff, How do you do the inside of that nice enginehouse with roadbed under the track inside the building? Are you going to build up the floor of the house? Just curious… Good work everyone!!
The engine house will be removed after it’s position is carefully marked. A mold will be built that will be somewhat smaller than the interior area of the structures base and pieces of foam will be placed in it to take up space. Plaster will then be poured in and leveled with the bottom of the rails.
Well, that was a quick response!! Thay should look pretty sweet when done
Looks like a good start already!
I am posting a few shots that I took at the Woodstock Turn last weekend. These are just flash photos taken at some layouts we visited on Saturday afternoon.
I spent some time hooking up power to some interior building lights I installed ages ago (while the buildings were on my original 4x8 layout). Things looked fairly decent so I turned the room lights way downand took some pictures… Neat! (at least I thought so)…
One of my most recently completed projects is the 6th Street warehouse in Mill Bend. The photographer got there late in the afternoon.
This scene is still under construction at the (railroad) east end of Mill Bend…
Hope you found 'em interesting…

Some nice contributions already in the first day.
Here’s the bulkhead flat I got. Now I need to figure out what load to put on it.
I weathered my PC hopper. Granted it could probably be rustier and dirtier.(bad PC joke)
the roof, which kind of got overdid. On camera it looks alright though.
I’m planning to weather one of my U33Cs, so I’ll get pics of that later. I’ll probably weather a few more carrs over the weekend.
Nice weathering, Robby. Looks like a real one! Love the photos too!
