Gidday All, Well its that time again.

Passing in the night on the AMG.

Looking forward as per usual to the Good Stuff.

Have a Great One Folks.

Cheers, the Bear.[:D]

Bear, another nice picture. Nothing new this week but here are a couple of shots of a PC SD40 and SD45 on the Strongsville, OH Club Layout.

Thanks for looking!

Bear: … Thanks for starting WPF. I like the photo. … Rick: Nice club layout photos.

Here is a local passenger train with older equipment and hauled by an SD7.

Yard shot with all the locomotive power.

Beautiful pics, guys.

I worked on getting the rest of the scenery base in place on the Cascade Branch. First, a pic at Purgatory, where a stone mill produces cut stone and stock pieces for the architectural trade.

Once we get further up-hill, things turn pink – for now. Need to get some more Sculptamold now.[;)]

Here’s a view back from the summit of the grade on the way to Crater Lake. To the left will be the log landing at Camp 13.

The yard at Crater Lake:

The Crater Lake Quarry, where the stone comes from.

Note that nearly every piece of pink you see is configured as a liftout, so laying the track can wait, if you were wondering about that. I’ll get around to updating my build thread with more pics soon:

Nice modeling all around folks. Here’s a photo of a small section of an 8ft long rock cliff scene - lots more to do (as always it seems).

A great beginning guys! Keep them coming!

Here is one from the BRVRR:

Pennsylvania E-8 #5713 at the head of a passenger extra rounds the General Industries curve on the BRVRR layout.

Thanks guys, for making this the best thread of the week.

The first DRST unit #41, loco’s are in oddball schemes. #41 bears the railroads mascot, a shark. the company slogan is Mako shark fast. this unit is part of a 5 unit series (40-45) usually based in yards or running locals. All GP15-1’s are based in DRST’s primary yard outside of tenino washington but often get placed on road freights to switch smaller outlying storage yards in western washington. This unit is a former BN unit as the owner Mr. DuPrey tends to prefer ex BN units over other roads.

Great thread,as usual!

I haven’t done much on the layout lately, but I’ve had some fun experimenting with photo-stacking software…does a really nice job of bringing the whole scene into focus.

Have a great weekend.

Mike

B&O, I wanted to join the USAF but never did. so I can take no credit for serving in the US armed forces though I will thank you for your service. it’s my favorite branch even though most of the family is Army.

Stan,

That weatherbeaten structure is superb. Is that a 47’ Ford waiting at the crossing? Reminds me of Phil Silver’s car in that great old comedy movie, Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad, World.
