Thanks for starting WPF, Peter. Excellent scene as usual.
Now I shall upset two people who say I should not post pictures of my granddaughter’s modelling.
On her last visit here she ‘borrowed’ some of my spare scenery items
(I got them back).

Wow!!! Looks great!!! I love it
Good morning from sunny and cold Northeast Ohio!
Did not get a lot done this week, but some progress was made.
Finished another old Athearn 40’ trailer, where I removed most of the FGE details on the trailer, added mud flaps then painted it with Scalecoat II Silver paint and lettered it with Highball Graphics decals. Another of my non-railroad trailers so as to add some variety to the consists.
Also finished up my second Ann Arbor RS-2, painted with Floquil Daylight Red and Scalecoat II Black paint and lettered with Microscale decals. I needed a second unit as the two the Ann Arbor had usually ran together delivering sand from the Yuma MI pits to Conrail in Toledo for delivery to Ford in Brook Park.
From an earlier time Ann Arbor (Rapido) FA-2’s with the sand hoppers heading to Toledo to connect with the NYC. Picture taken on the Strongsville Club layout.
Have a great weekend!

Love all the photos!
@NorthBrit, I say those people are silly. Your granddaughter does wonderful modeling, and I think its a good source of inspiration here.
@York1 does that photo mean you’re still waking up?
Looking good! You mentioned Scale Coat II paint silver paint. So Scale Coat paints are finally being produced again? There was a thread on the new company’s name and owner but that was on the previous version of this forum about a year or 2 back. He was trying to get things going but, from what I last read, it was a long process for him.
No,still have a lot of Scalecoat left after they closed up, the new supplier was badly affected by the hurricane in Florida and is slowly trying to get the paint out to market again.

Been awhile since I posted anything and nice group of pictures Gents. Here are a pair of GN boxcars I done painted sometime back. I have been packing things up and came across these puppies as we prepare to leave our house we have occupied since '93. We are leaving Oregon City for Vernonia, OR.
Thanks Rick! Hoping that he will be successful. Similar situation with me in that I have enough SCII paint to continue using as basecoats for metalizing SS passenger cars.
I’ve finished off the saddle-tank kitbash I was working on in N scale. Used one of the trailing trucks from the Bachmann 2-6-2 to add some wheels under the cab.
Beautiful work, tbdanny. Love that little guy!
Rich
A good looking pair of puppies, indeed. Very nice paint job. Did you airbrush?
Rich
Beautiful work, tbdanny. Love that little guy!
Thanks . I even managed to squeeze a working headlight in with a SMD LED. I’m now looking at adding that to my two Bachmann USRA 0-6-0s.
WOW I love seeing her work. wont upset me, you tell her she is a amazing artist.
Chuck
great photo everyone please keep them coming!!!

I love working with SMD LEDs, super bright though they are. What resistor value did you use?
Rich
I used a 1K resistor. I was able to tuck it in behind the decoder in the cab. (This is why the cab windows are covered over.) For the USRA 0-6-0s, I’ve ordered some SMD resistors (1/4 watt) which should take up less space.
This is it on my test track, with the lights on. It is bright. I don’t usually have them on when running, but it helps confirm that the locomotive is receiving power. Especially on non-sound models.
Yes, it sure is bright. Recently, I upgraded the lighting on several Athearn Genesis diesels, replacing the dreaded 1.5V incandescent bulbs with SMD LEDs. I bought a pack of 50 1/4 watt resistors with various values for $8.00 so that I could test various values. I wound up using a 2200K resistor to tone down the light.
