I’ll spare you the compliment this week, as you already know your loved. Got a great big smile on my face, looking at that good yucks shark, in that perfect water though[:)]
Ed, I’ve always admired the pictures from your layout, and strive for a fine-tuned craft just like yours. I’ve got some Penn Central cars in my roster, three green ones, and two black.
Today is not my contribution, but I’d like to post some great stuff from Dr Wayne.

All but two of the buildings on my layout are scratchbuilt. One that isn’t is this Dairy Queen kit my wife gave me. I tried doing some interior work on this, but in N, it’s difficult to see anything unless you’re about 3 inches away.
That’s cool John. Man, Can’t even stand to go past a Dairy Queen, and not stop and get a cone dipped in butterscotch.
There is actually something new over here, as beams were added under bridge #3 before paint, just in case you pass under it.

Today Her-in-Doors and I attended the Taupo Hobby Expo. Layouts, European, British, US, from Gauge 1 to N scale; model aeroplanes, militaria, RC boats, trucks, and aeroplanes. As usual a well-attended show and a good variety.
Sales tables were somewhat hit and miss. I mean to say, “Vintage” Athearn BB kits, for twice the price as to when they were new!! And the vendors wonder why they don’t sell.
Some more good stuff, sure like that interesting Viaduct as well Bear[Y]

Thanks to all the contributors and viewers.
Ed, Dig those Fs and rolling stock. Maybe seeing tracks so often is why I can easily take them for granted, but ‘the tracks are models too,’ and yours look great.
Also, when admiring the flowing beauty in TF’s trestle and bridge it’s too easy to overlook the intricasy of work involved. Btw, I miss being inspired and helped by Doc Wayne’s generous postings of his wonderful layout and tutorials. But also miss the posts of so many other forum members.
Bear, Nice to see such interesting locomotives, and that you found some goodies. Still, seeing the show attendees wearing jackets, coats, sweaters and caps made me wish for a little coolness while the temp in my backyard was hovering around 90F.
John, Like the ice cream stand. No matter the size, any addition to the layout from family or friend, and most especially a spouse always puts a smile on the face and warmth in the heart.
