Good morning from sunny and warm Northeast Ohio! Made it back from California in one piece after taking the Red-Eye.
Kevin, thanks for starting us out, good purchase for you, wish we could find some inexpensive 60’s and 70’s cars to fill out all my auto racks.
TB Danny, neat looking project, looking forward to seeing the final results.
Harrison, thanks for the videos looking forward to seeing more.
Jimmy, I don’t know what I am looking at, are the detail parts added to the car or is the car printed, I can’t tell the differences in the two pictures.
Garry, good looking ore train, right now I have 4 more ore cars on my PRR version from the Great Lakes to the steel mills in Pittsburgh.

Walthers 4427Cf Covered Hopper Kit, equipped with a Plano Roofwalk, painted with Scalecoat II Reefer White and lettered with Herald King Decals. The Lehigh Valley purchased or leased cars from General American, Bethlehem Steel and Pullman Standard to service the grain elevators in Bufallo, NY. I am using the Walthers Car as a standin for the Bethlehem Steel car with had the same panel arrangement.
By the way I miscounted, only had to drill 68 #79 holes, and I only broke one drill but I had been using it for months drilling various mounting holes in cars and diesels, so it was due.
