Thanks Peter for starting this weekends WPF.
New boxvans arrived seen at the old Leeds Sovereign Street Station prior to dismantling and rebuild of layout.

Thanks for starting another weekend of photos, Peter! Your photos again are so realistic it’s difficult to tell your layout and real-life apart.
David, thanks for another nice scene from your older layout.
Mine this week is a New Orleans streetcar. While my N layout is DCC, the streetcar is DC and runs back and forth on it’s own dedicated track. I noticed after I took the picture that someone shot Bigfoot and left him lying in the street. – John
Oh boy, my first ever WPF participation! Thanks Firecrown for making being able to post photos easy!
So after20 or so years of layout building I finally decided a few years ago to start with scenery. Cripple bush rubber rock castings, woodland scenics plastermold rocks, ground cover, etc. Still a LONG way to go. A month ago I realized I had not a single person on the layout. It was like Red Rock from Blazing Saddles! So here you go, my first group of volunteers to stand and wait for a train forever. The station doesn’t actually reside there, I just put it there for the photo.
Regards, Chris
Well, in that case, welcome to WPF!
Rich
A busy looking station means a reason to be there (imo). Well done.

The Northern Pacific’s new F7A-B-A sets 6511 and 6512 have arrived on the property fresh from EMD. When the President of the Northern Pacific saw the new engines he immediately called his counterpart at EMD and demanded the the EMD paint shop foreman be fired!

Thanks for another WPF Peter.
Always appreciate how you obviously can stick your hand in your head to pull out whatever you imagine.
I’ll tune in to this station every week, whether I’m here or not, and enjoy your fine modeling skills my friends.
After removing bridge #4, had a standstill with my second removable module, as two portals were fighting for the same area of real estate.
With no room for legs, the double portal had to be cement. Decided to change it all to cement then.
Sometimes there is stumbling blocks in this hobby. Had to bring the back one to the front from the original plan to make it work. Flow them together I’d sappose, so the imaginable rock bluff line can flow too.
Got a bit of detailing to do before paint.
Hate pink foam. Why couldn’t they make more of a masculine charcoal gray, or silver. After all it’s construction, not a lady’s purse
PS going to have to fast and finale the bricks on the abutments to make them smooth like cement too. The box form behind is temporary to be removed.
As becoming a master carpenter in life, doesn’t make me a master modeler. Im the slowest modeler in the upper midwest

TF, all masterpieces of art take time!

Great photos @Heathmiester, as usual. Custom paint job?
You’re nothing but a dreamer.

Fumbled around with that for a whole day, and thought no one could appreciate it but me.
Your good people Chris, Thank you my brother

Love your pic!

Made some progress this week and completed some projects.
Built another Athearn 40’ trailer, removing some of the FGE details then painting with Scalecoat II Silver paint and lettering with Highball Graphics decals.
Also finished an Athearn ACF 4600CF Covered Hopper kit, painted with Scalecoat II UP Covered Hopper Gray, then lettered with decals from Black Swamp Shops. Car was in grain service at the large elevator complex at Carey, OH.
Last week I took 1PC and 2PRR Athearn GP9’s to the club to replicate an early PC lashup hauling a coal train made up of H37b and H39 hopper cars.
Have a great weekend!
