Another weekend of photos which will help keep me working on my layout.
Thanks for the start, Kevin, and as usual, your cars look great. I hope your new layout will be able to fit all of your rolling stock.
Ed, the lighting came out nice. I love lights on my layout, and I keep adding more and more.
David, your new backdrop and the scenes you have staged look great. I really like all the mini-scenes you put on the layout.
HBrowling, welcome to Weekend Photo Fun. This thread is the best on the forum, and I hope you can continue to give us more pictures of your layout. I like your lighting and the concrete work!
Harrison, isn’t it fun to look at pictures from the start of the layout up to now? Progress is slow, but before and after pictures show how much work is done. I’ve also been considering a new layout, or at least major changes to this one.
Rick, that’s a great picture of the FP9s. I love passenger trains, and yours crossing the bridge looks neat.
Garry, I love your city scenes. I think I’ve mentioned before that I really like your backdrops. They seem to be just right to give the illusion of depth to the layout.
Simon, nice work on the coaling tower. Looks good.
Ringo, your tree looks very real. I have tried to get the same effect, but mine never look as good as yours came out. I think I put too much foliage on mine. Nice work on the fascia.
Peter, the Real Cold car and the building behind it look very realistic. You have a good eye for making models look real.
We have been out of town, so I haven’t gotten any work done this week. This is a photo of my attempt at a chemical plant. The building is Rix and the railings-stairs are Tichy, but the rest is my first attempt at scratch building. There are some things I would change, but they are on hold while I consider some major layout changes.
