Weekend Photo Fun, WPF May 13-15

Happy Friday da 13th!

An overhead shot of my Dash8-32BWH, left over from my ‘Amtrak Anniversary’ shoot. Yes I took a few ‘modeling liberties’ with it; the CP style antiglare panel on the hood, cab-top number, sun-shades, & the looped GE STD outside cut bars. However, I believe it still represents, & is a nice model, at least on MY railroad, Heh, heh!

Enjoy!

Here is this weeks set of completed cars!

This is an LBF Greenville 52’ Gon that is similar to the Bethlehem Gon (Not Available) used by the Delaware & Hudson. Decal from Herald King.

This is the second Mountain Pines Lumber car, using a McKeen Models kit and Herald King Decals.

Atlas Kaolin Tank Car kit, painted black and decorated with Islington Station Products decals.

Thanks for looking.

Here’s a shot of the boxcar that made “Trackside Photo” for this months magazine. I’m very proud of that!! I know it took sometime to do!!

Robby,

Congrats on that, I was finally happily surprised to see the talent I know & recognize from the forum in the magazine!!! Great Work Man!!! Congrats!

Congratulations, Robby. It is a worthy item to be presented in MR.

Here is my photo for the week.

Nothing like looking out your backroom farmhouse window and seeing a train

Starting the day, an early morning scene at Flannigan’s Furniture Co.

As Pogo used to say, “Woe is us, Friday the 13th comes on Friday this month!”
(Maybe the context of old comic strips will not scan with younger readers) [%-)]

The projects and pictures I had planned for this week got delayed by other stuff, hopefully next time!

Here’s an NYC E7AB emerging from the tunnel.

Looks like an E7, however.

Have a nice weekend,

Makin’ progress on the Southern Pacific (nevermind the ugly gray paint, it’ll go away). It’s only been a week since I tore down the old layout…

So, when is someone going to model this scene, with a wooden trestle crossing a short gorge along a shear cliff?

started this on wed. its my house. had it drawn in 3d already so im just using it to get dimensions for ir.

also getting all the paint from the garage, to paint this one like the 1:1

Great shot Mark. I hope to incorporate a scene like that on my layout. Maybe switching the rail line with the road.

I havent seen anything from Grampys Trains lately . Is he ok ? RON

I’ve been putting up some trees and experimenting with some dead fall.

I think it’s pretty obvious that Ezra doesn’t clean up the mess under his trees.

Great work as always Jeffery!

Got all the track & cork nail’ed down. Still need to make a trip back to the LHS tomorrow. I weathered the NP boxcar & SP SD40 I bought today, here are the results…
