GREAT WORK!

Great photos peoples!
Rex and Art-- Truely sweet rock work!
TZ – that’s quite a haul. How much did all that cost?
Heres my contribution…

Ummm, the CZ cars are the expensive part about $55 each. I am a bit miffed they didn’t come out with the CZ cars 2 a month, like they originally said. Now, I’m already 5 cars behind. It is going to be difficult to get the whole set (39+ cars) in just 3 months. The Stewart F3 & Atlas were $35 each (oh by the way they have added detail too, like hand rails, lift rings, horns, etc.) RS3 was $20. FT $45. The two buildings were $40.
Part II - Operation Night
A few passengers wait for local #512 to come to a stop at the Bufford Station. It is interesting to note the passing siding is empty as there is no local working the town. Bufford is often a bottleneck for the locals because of its location and the presence of the high priorty stock pens (center right) on a switch back spur.

Through train #111 behind a brace of Alco Fs blast out of tunnel #2 trying to stay on schedule. There is facing train waiting its turn in the tunnel on the siding in Hermosa a few miles up the track.

Well, I’ve run the wheels off one of my cars this weekend…literally! So, I called in the little hook for a repair and sent the car off to the maintenance shop as the evening set in.

I can’t wait until I get a chance to start painting some structures and locos like those you guys have here; it is truely amazing [^]. Have to get the basics out of the way first like painting in the train room. I hope next week to get started on electrical.
My first attempt at clouds. My wife stepped in afterwards. She is the real artist in this family [:)]

Also got that pesky utility panel disguised slightly.

tom bryant I really think you should redo the sky again. Not to be rude at all, but it looks so toy like. Too blue and the clouds are not realistic. Go for a lighter blue and use the stencil for the clouds at the hobby stores for $9. Then you just use spray paint for the clouds and they look so real. Give it a try before you are stuck with that here. Good luck buddy
Tom, i totaly disagree with TrollStar, i think you and your wife did a GREAT job on the clouds.[:p] i REALLY like the first pic. i airbrushed the clouds on the N “empire”, and they didnt come out even HALF as good as yours.[;)] this pic i’m posting isnt a great example, but you can see what i mean.[:)]
I’m sorry. I remember seeing the message and it was my intent to get back to you, but I’ve just been so busy.
Nice job on the refinery kit, Chuck - must be a gas refinery with all those pressurized tanks…? Will you be adding piping when you place the structures on your layout? I’ll be adding a similar facility on my own layout - did the kit come with piping?
Bryant, those cloud are fine. I disagree with Captain troll.
Boudreau, is that Rust-All I see on those wheelsets?
TZ-- thats some great overall modeling.
That looks real!!! [:D][:p] Nice work!!![8D][8D][8D]
Iginc,
Is that AeroTrain in N scale? If so, WHERE DID YOU GET IT?!?! I love the AeroTrain.[:D]
