Just curious - why do those threads get locked after the weekend? Is there some problem with posting even into the next week?

Even though the last post on the most recent WPF was on Sunday PM, the WPF threads are left open till Tuesday midnight. That’s five full days it is left open to be posted to. We close the older ones so that they do not become troll fodder later on.
